A Tarumba is pleased to announce its participation at Pop up Puppets International Puppet Theatre Festival, in Stockholm, with 'This is not the Gogol's Nose, but it could be... with a dash of Jack Prévert', on 18 August at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern!

We will also hold a Workshop on Toy Theatre and Animated Figures (19 August).

Marionetteatern is turning 60 years of age and is celebrating with the five-day-long puppet theatre festival Pop up Puppets!!

A importância de ter um nariz, para não dar com o nariz na porta, não meter o nariz onde não se é chamado, ser dono do seu nariz ou para meter o nariz em tudo! E Jacques Prévert? “Em boa verdade, não se parecia com ninguém.”

Pequena forma em miscelânea de narizes…
Um cadavre exquis de cenas, objectos e jogos de palavras, mas sempre com muito nonsense, onde está presente o mundo surreal que nos rodeia.

A nova produção da companhia A Tarumba inspira-se no universo de Gógol e Jacques Prévert, recorrendo a objectos e a figuras articuladas de papel, criando um ambiente kitsch, insólito e de festa com reminiscências russas... num dispositivo especialmente criado para acolher o público.

Inspired by the world of Gogol and Jacques Prévert, this new production by the company A Tarumba uses objects and paper figures to create an original backdrop and a party filled with Russian memories...
