Um trabalho absolutamente experimental sobre o erotismo, com a utilização de objectos, sombras e figuras articuladas, que tem tido lotações esgotadas em cada nova temporada, e que foi apresentado no programa IN do Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes de Charleville-Mézières, em França, no Festival of Wonder - Silkeborg Dukketeaterfestival, na Dinamarca, na 30.ª edição do Festival Internacional Skupa's Pilsen - Competition Biennial Czech Professional Puppet and Alternative Theater (30. Skupova Plzen), na República Checa, no LUTKE 2014 - 12th International Puppet Theatre Festival, em Liubliana, Eslovénia e no Bábkarská Bystrica 2014 - 19th International Festival of Contemporary Puppet Theatre for Adults and Children, em Banská Bystrica, Eslováquia.

Mironescópio: The Love Machine is a show of small forms inspired by the old Peep Shows and the first motion pictures experiences made in the 19th century with the use of devices like Kinetoscope or Mutoscope.
The show Mironescópio was already performed in the programme IN of Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes de Charleville-Mézières, France, at Festival of Wonder - Silkeborg Dukketeaterfestival, Denmark, at Skupa's Pilsen - Competition Biennial Czech Professional Puppet and Alternative Theater (30. Skupova Plzen), Czech Republic, at LUTKE 2014 - 12th International Puppet Theatre Festival, in Ljubljana, Eslovenia and at Bábkarská Bystrica 2014 - 19th International Festival of Contemporary Puppet Theatre for Adults and Children, in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.

Um espectáculo de pequenas formas inspirado nos antigos Peep Shows e nas primeiras experiências cinematográficas realizadas no século XIX, com a utilização de aparelhos como o Cinetoscópio e o Mutoscópio. Um trabalho absolutamente experimental sobre o erotismo, com a utilização de objectos, sombras e figuras articuladas, e que tem tido lotações esgotadas em cada nova temporada.

Mironescópio: A Máquina do Amor foi apresentado no programa IN do Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes de Charleville-Mézières (2013); em França, no Festival of Wonder - Silkeborg Dukketeaterfestival 2013, Dinamarca; no 30th Skupa's Pilsen - Competition Biennial Czech Professional Puppet and Alternative Theater (30. Para desenvolver a sua ideia, A Tarumba inventou aparelhos em forma de caixas escuras, com um orifício, por onde se pode espreitar, e que escondem mundos, personagens e histórias distintas, mas todas giram à volta do tema do erotismo. São os ‘mironescópios’, cada um deles servido e accionado por uma Madame ou por um Monsieur, e pelo qual apenas pode olhar um espectador de cada vez (…). O esquema é perfeito: mundos encerrados em caixas mágicas que uns anfitriões, meio mágicos, meio Madames, nos oferecem para que entremos neles através do olhar intimo e pessoal, sempre indiscreto, com absoluta liberdade para entender e imaginar o que quisermos. Excelente a variedade dos temas, a realização cheia de cor e de sensualidade de cada uma das cenografias, bem como das pequenas histórias inventadas (…) que em nenhum momento roçam a indelicadeza, mas mantêm um subtil equilíbrio entre a correcção refinada do ‘como se diz’ e a nua realidade de ‘o que se diz’ (…). In its origin, the Peep Show did not have the erotic connotation it has today... and it ́s from here that Rute Ribeiro, Luís Vieira and their team receive their audience... so that they can peek inside tiny little rooms where there are holograms, Caldas dolls, sports, trips through Tibet and Japan, stories about the invention of the clitoris and vibrator, or even delicate suggestions about the sensuality of the carps. Small forms, short narratives, Mironescópio is a set of fleeting glances into antechambers of pleasure.”

To develop its idea, Tarumba invented some devices, shaped dark boxes, with a hole, through which we can peep, and hide inside each one of the worlds, characters and different stories, but all around the theme of eroticism.
